“ Priscilla was so sweet, I stop by after a rainy camping weekend. She made the best fried fish with hush puppies and fries. Everything was hot. Today was Saturday, so It comes with a free salad. It was nice to have a full belly on the way home to Dallas. Coming back in December. This is an awesome hole in the wall place. I highly recommend this place. I was so hungry, I wish I had taken a picture of the deliciousness. ”

“ We thought this place was fantastic for what it is. We have been here before when it was another restaurant and it was okay but very slow. Our whole visit today was good. Fried Fish is only on Friday. It was hot, crispy, not soggy or fishy tasting and fried perfectly. Homemade tarter sauce was excellent. Beans were like a junk beans and potato salad....both were awesome. Cheeseburger was thick and delicious with Cajun seasoned fries. Drinks are only can or bottle and from a refrigerator up front. The setting was great. Small.....only 3 tables in there to sit at so could be full easily and you find yourself eating in your car.... Lot of people came in for take out while we were there= you can call your order in. We went on a cold day and they had the heater running and we watched "Bar Rescue" on TV and were snug in that small place and content. The man up front was very nice; we met one of the cooks from the back and she told us of a Cajun tarter sauce to ask for next time....homemade. She also told us to try her homemade onion rings......we just sat there drooling. We will be back next week. ”

“ This is a hidden JEM! We were heading towards Marshall and decided to yelp for restaurants up the road a bit. So glad we did, the food was excellent! The burgers were huge, full of flavor and juicy, the buns were nice and toasty. We called our order in about 30 min outside of Marshall, itwas ready when we pulled in. Just do it, you won't regret it! We came during "rona" time he wore a mask. Probably the best part was the sign on the door my hubby loved: Have respect for yourself and others please pull up your pants before entering. I would take a photo but we ate it all we don't play. It was THAT good. ”

Kelvin was cheerful, friendly, explained the menu items, and made us feel like we were home. Trust me, we will definitely go back. Great portion size for the price. And the beans are by far my favorite also, I must add I had to drive about 15 mins back and then it took about another 10 to actually eat and the food was still hot! ”
